Betty Louise Terry was born March 29, 1931, in Chickasha. She was the daughter of Clarence and Edna (Miller) Tryon. She died Saturday, October 5, 2002, in Chickasha. She married Ronald Terry May 9, 1969, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Over the years Betty worked at Max's Drive-in, Fairview School, owned and operated The Beauty Box Salon and worked as a hairdresser for Idaho Nursing Home and Grace Living Center. Betty Loved going to the lake and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, two brothers: Clarence Tryon, Jr., and Jimmy Tryon, infant daughter: Shelly Ann; and one grandson: Bradley Stumpf. Survivors include: her husband: Ronald Terry of the home in Chickasha; five sons and their wives: Cyrus and Judy Stumpf of Amber, Okla., Raymond and Sharon Stumpf of Chickasha, Elbert and Debara Stumpf of Chickasha, John and Sheri Stumpf of Chickasha, Jimmy and Debbie Stumpf of Chickasha; one daughter and her husband: Shelia and Bill Bailey of Hartshorne; two sisters: Barbara Parham and husband Don of Chickasha, Reba Mitchell and husband Don of Dillon, Montana; one sister-in-law: Shirley Wyant and husband Billy of Chickasha; three brothers-in-law: Gerald Terry and wife Aletha of Chickasha, Harold Terry and wife Nellie of Solomon, Kan., Clifford Terry and wife Denise of Clayton, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
