Dorothy Lee Thornburg was born May 28, 1918, and died on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003. Burial will be in Bradley Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ======== The Chickasha Express-Star 26 January 2003 DOROTHY LEE THORNBURG Funeral serviced for Dorothy Lee Thornburg, 84, of Bradley, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2003, at the First Baptist Church of Bradley. Dorothy Lee Thornburg was born May 28, 1918, in St. Augustine, Texas, the daughter of George and Rosie (Chappel) Winningham, and died January 23, 2003, in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Mrs. Thornburg had lived in Bradley since 1960. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bradley. Mrs. Thornburg was preceded in death by: husband: James O. Thornburg in 1985; 4 sons: James D. Thornburg, Marion O. Thornburg, George Allen Thornburg, infant Roy Thornburg; 1 daughter: Jo Ann Thornburg, infant; 1 brother and 1 sister. Survivors include: 3 sons: Jimmy Dale Thornburg, Garland G. Thornburg, Richard A. Thornburg; 2 daughters: Sandra Lee Nye, Bobbie Juanita Anderson; 1 brother: James Winningham; 27 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
