Frances Mae Utsler was born Jan. 25, 1927, and died on Monday, Feb. 23, 2004. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ===== The Chickasha Express-Star 25 February 2004 FRANCES MAE UTSLER Funeral service for Frances Mae Utsler, 77, of Pocasset, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Pocasset. Frances Mae Utsler was born January 25, 1927, near Pocasset, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Henry and Anna (Davidson) Denney, and died February 23, 2004, at her home. Mrs. Utsler lived around the Pocasset area all of her life. She attended Harold School. She and Dake Utsler were married June 11, 1944, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death. They were very active in the First Baptist Church or Pocasset. Mrs. Utsler was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pocasset where she was a former pianist and nursery worker. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Burnis Denney. Survivors include two sons, Gary Utsler, of the home, and Chuck Utsler and wife, Donnia, of Pocasset; two grandchildren, Kyle Utsler and wife, Tami, of Pocasset, and Kelli Brown and husband, Jeromy, of Pocasset; one granddaughter, Kiley Utsler, of Pocasset; three brothers, Owen Denney and Wife, Betty, of Vinita, Oklahoma, Paul Denney and wife, Doris, of Chickasha, Oklahoma and S. E. Denney and wife, Frankie, of Minco, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Rowena Denney, of Chickasha; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
