He was born on September 14, 1979 to Jerry and Susan Vaughn in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He has lived in the Lindsay area all of his life and attended Lindsay High School. Jarrod married Iona Vestle on May 5, 2000 in Lindsay. He attended the Lindsay New Heights Church. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, and the VNEA Pool League. Jarrod enjoyed playing golf, pool, fishing and being with his family and friends, but most of all he enjoyed harassing his wife. Jarrod is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Vaughn, and his grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife, Iona Vaughn of Lindsay, OK, his father, Jerry Vaughn, Lindsay, OK, two sisters; Michelle Vaughn of Lindsay, and Jennifer Vaughn and husband, Nickie Kuhn, of Noble, OK, four nephews, C.J. Johnson, of Wynnewood, OK, Chad Vaughn, Layne Vaughn and Jakub Vaughn-Kuhn, of Noble, OK., six nieces, M’Kayla Vaughn-Greywolf, Skye Downey, of Lindsay, Ok, Rylee Vaughn-Kuhn, of Noble, Ok, Tiffany Kimberlin, Brittany Kimberlin of Las Vegas, NV, and Carlie Vestle of Maysville, OK, his Mother and Father In-law, Janet and Jimmy Vestle of Maysville, OK, one grandmother, Iona Burley of Niacoma Park, OK, and many aunts, uncles, as well as many friends and cousins. He was loved and will be missed by all. Services for Jarrod are scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Green Hill Cemetery, Lindsay, OK. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home.
