The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 12 August 2002 VIRGIL ELMER (BUCK) WEAVER Funeral service for Virgil Elmer (Buck) Weaver, 88, of Chickasha, will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2002, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Virgil Elmer (Buck) Weaver was born December 11, 1913, in Bradley, Oklahoma. He was the son of Edgar and Donnie (Willard) Weaver. He died Saturday August 10, 2002, at his home in Chickasha. Mr. Weaver graduated from Friend School where he had lettered in basketball and baseball. He has been a farmer and dairyman in Grady County for over 50 years. He and Irene Whitaker were married in 1937. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: his wife Irene (Zimmie) Weaver, of the home; two sons Jerry and wife Helen Weaver, of Chickasha, and Roy Weaver of Chickasha; one daughter Martha Morris, of Texas; one brother Linden Weaver, of Ohio; seven grandchildren including Donna and Jimmy Stephens, of Chickasha, Josh and Cody Stephens, of Chickasha; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
