Weaver Funeral Mass for Marie Friemel Weaver, 92, of Chickasha, will be held Saturday, November 30, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Elmer Schwarz officiating. Marie Friemel Weaver was born April 6, 1910, in Umbarger, Texas, the daughter of Clemens Charles Friemel and Anna Josephine Skypala Friemel. She died Wednesday, November 27, 2002, in Chickasha. Marie grew up in Umbarger, where she attended St. Mary’s Catholic School. She married Willie Lee Weaver on February 29, 1929, in Dallas, Texas. After her marriage, she and her husband, Lee, moved to Kingsville, Louisiana, later returning to Umbarger, Texas. They moved to Borger, Texas, in 1936 before coming to Chickasha in 1983. Marie was a homemaker while rearing her children and later a sales clerk with T.G. & Y. in Borger, Texas. After coming to Chickasha, she was a childcare provider for the nursery at the Presbyterian Church and the Assembly of God Church. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. Marie was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers. Her husband Lee also preceded her in death on November 22, 1989. Survivors include four daughters and their husbands, Marlane Weaver, of Tacoma, Washington, Diannah and Jim Parker, of Chickasha, Mary and David Hundt, of The Colony, Texas, Delila and Mike Caddell, of Plano, Texas; one sister, Elsie Batenhorst, of Umbarger, Texas; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. Wake and Rosary services will be held Friday, November 29, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
