Jerry G. West

Jerry G. West, of Las Vegas, NV, went to be with our Lord on February 2, 
2006.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. 
at the Henderson Baptist Church, Interstate 35 & 15th St., Edmond, 
Oklahoma.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Fairlawn 
Cemetery, Chickasha.

He was born on October 1, 1942 in Chickasha, OK to Ione and Joe E. West 
and spent his youth and young adult life there.

He is survived by his wife Linda; brother Ron and sister-in-law Linda West 
of Edmond, OK; sister Wanda Johnson, Del City, OK; mother Ione A. West, 
Bethany, OK; children, Greg West, Phoenix, AZ; Steven West, Hilliard, OH; 
Amanda Lubbers, Cordell, OK; and brother-in-law, Gary Seder, Saugus, CA.

He was preceded in death by his father Joe E. West of Chickasha, OK.

Jerry proudly served as an FBI Agent in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and 
Phoenix. During his service in Las Vegas, he was extremely proud to have 
been involved in the formation of the CATS team, composed of FBI Agents, 
Las Vegas Officers and other law enforcement agencies, focusing on 
removing violent criminals from the community. The team had successfully 
executed 1000 arrests without any incident.

He is sorely missed by his family and his friends and an emptiness will 
remain in our hearts forever.
