Chickasha Daily Express, April 16, 1981:

MRS. BILLIE G. WASSON Funeral for Mrs. Billie G. Wasson, 81, 909 South 
16th, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Sevier Funeral 
Home. Rev. Jerald Kirkpatrick, pastor First Christian Church will 
officiate. Mrs. Wasson was born Feb. 7, 1900, at Ninnekah. She died
Wednesday, April 5, 1981, in a local nursing home. She and R.G. 
(Garland) Wasson were married in January, 1921 in Chickasha. He 
preceded her in death in 1977. Mrs. Wasson was a member of the 
First Christian Church. She is survived by a son, Ken Wasson of 
Tulsa; a sister, Emma Hanna of Sapulpa; three grandchildren and 
three great grandchildren. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
