Reverend Alvin McConnell officiated, assisted by Reverend Audie Dorrough and Al Underwood. Lucille Carroll White was born March 5, 1908, in Eldorado, Arkansas, the daughter of Frank L. and Minnie (Howard) Carroll, and died Saturday, April 13, 2002, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mrs. White graduated from O.C.W. and taught school for several years in Verden, Cement, Pioneer and Ninnekah. She lived in the Ninnekah area most of her life. She and Ralph H. White were married July 16, 1936. Mrs. White was a member of the Ninnekah First Baptist Church and the Ninnekah Extension Homemakers. Survivors include: her husband: Ralph H. White, of the home; 1 daughter; Linda Kennedy, of Columbia, Missouri; 4 sons: Dennis White and wife, Marta, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, William (Bill) White and wife, Sue, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Duane White, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Jerry White and wife, Michelle, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
