::Verden Cemetery--Verden OK

Funeral services for V. M. White were held at the Methodist church here 
Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Hedrick, pastor, conducted the funeral 
services and interment was made in the Verden Cemetery beside his wife 
who departed this life about a year ago.

Uncle Buck, seemingly, was enjoying health, and had gone to Haskell for 
a visit with his daughter, Mrs. Will Grimet, where he passed away 
Thursday night.

The body was brought here Friday for burial arrangements.

The members of the Masonic Order here paid tribute at the funeral of 
which Mr. White was a member. A very large crowd attended and many 
beautiful flowers were displayed as a token of rememberance of his many 
friends.

He is survived by the following sons and daughters: Ben White, Harley 
White and Mrs. T. E. Otey, Cement, Tom White, Mrs. Dock Boswell of 
Chickasha, Will White, Texas, and Mrs. Will Grimet, Haskell.
