C. WHITE Funeral services for A. C. White, 83, of Rush Springs, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Southern Baptist Church. Rev. Elmer Whitehead and Rev. Bubba Clark will officiate. A. C. White was born May 8, 1919, in Rush Springs, and died on Sunday, March 15, 2003, in Gregston Nursing Home of Marlow, Okla. White RUSH SPRINGS — A.C. White, 83, of Rush Springs died Sunday, March 16, 2003, in Gregston Nursing Home in Marlow. Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Southern Baptist Church of Rush Springs with the Rev. Elmer Whitehead and the Rev. Bubba Clark officiating. Burial will be in Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel of Rush Springs. A.C. was born May 8, 1919, in Rush Springs, to Charles O. and Mary E. Carey White. He married Norma on Nov. 1, 1941, in Bridgeport, Texas. Mr. White lived in the Rush Springs area most of his life. He retired from Grady County after 24 years of service as a road grader. He was a member and served as a deacon of the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs. He enjoyed hunting. Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Bernary White of Seminole, Burl and Linda White of Duncan, and Ken and Billie White of Marlow; four grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and a sister.
