All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::City Cemetery--Duncan OK Duncan Banner 4/30/2003 Mac White Services for Mac White, 64, of Duncan, who dies Tuesday, April 29, 2003, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Burial will be in the Duncan cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Mr. White was born July 21, 1938, in Rush Springs to William Calvin and Robbie Bumgardner White. He married Judy Lindsey on March 4, 1960, in Rush Springs. Mr. White served in the U.S. Navy and worked for Halliburton Services, retiring in 1993 as supervisor over the Inspection Department. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge and was affiliated with the Baptist church. Survivors include his wife, Judy, of the home; three sons, Jeff White and his wife Beth of Oklahoma City, Loren White and his wife Ruth of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Rann White and his wife Bama of Duncan; a brother, Jon White of Alachua, Fla.; four sisters, Norma Willmon of Phoenix, Betty Nunley of Chickasha, Janey Dirickson of Marlow and Rita Boydston of Duncan; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Lynn White and Jimmy White. Bearers will be Ray Sparks, Jim Lowe, Albert Liles, Danny Antwine, Bill Ptomey and Sonny Smith. Honorary bearers will be Thurman Smith, James Black and all of his golf friends.
