"JIM" WADE Funeral service for James W. "Jim" Wade, 61, of Chickasha, will be held Friday, July 15, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. James W. Wade was born July 13, 1943, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Neal J. Wade and Margaret E. Baldwin Wade. He died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 in Oklahoma City. Jim grew up in Chickasha. He attended Chickasha Public Schools and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1962. After graduation he was employed as a ski instructor in Crested Butte, Colorado, where he enjoyed many summers and winters with his friends and family. He considered Colorado, his home away from home. He later attended college in Baytown, Texas, where he played semi-pro football. He joined the Army Reserves out of Chickasha and was stationed in Fort Polk, Louisana. He was employed with Otasco for many years, and worked his way into management. After leaving Otasco he became a real estate agent with Link Real Estate. He later bought into the company which became Wade Link Appraisal. He was currently the owner and operator of Wade Appraisal Company in Chickasha. Jim was a member of Parkview Christian Church. He was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers: Neal Wade, Jr., and his twin, John Wade. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law: Jennifer and Aaron Brown, of Oklahoma City, and Amanda Solomon, of Chickasha; sister-in-law, Neva Wade, of Tyler Texas; his former wife of 23 years, Debra Wade; three grandsons: Michael, Jacob, and Derek Solomon, of Chickasha; one granddaughter, Reagan Brown, of Oklahoma City; and numerous friends and loved ones.
