WOODALL Funeral services for John J. Woodall, a pioneer farmer in this community, were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5 at the Methodist Church. Rev. Harold Watson officiated. Burial was in the Verden Cemetery with the Hansen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ed Adkisson, Mrs. Don Lair, Mrs. Dale Henricks and Mrs. Donald Brown sand "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. Brown said "An Evening Prayer." Mrs. E. L. Gardner accompanied them on the piano. Casket bearers were Claude Eurton, Alvie Grizzle, Roscoe Hendrix, R. L. Brown, R. E. Flood and B. F. Loveless. Mr. Woodall was born January 7, 1880 at Salado, Texas and passed away on July 3, 1956 at Chickasha, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years, five months and 25 days. He came to Verden in 1911, moved to Norman in 1920, and to Chickasha in 1955. His wife preceded him in death on June 22, 1955. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Person E.
