All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Laurel Land Memorial Park--Ft Worth TX Woodruff, Ornez "Auntie" 1918 - 2005 Ornez "Auntie" Woodruff, 86, a homemaker, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, in Arlington. Funeral: noon Tuesday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Ornez was born Nov. 23, 1918, in Bradley, Okla., to Charles and Mae Hammon. She married Russell A. Woodruff Aug. 17, 1937, in Chickasha, Okla. They resided most of their married life in Bagdad, Ariz., moving to Texas after retirement. She and Russell moved to Eden Terrace Independent Living in Arlington, where they made precious friends. Ornez was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; parents, Charles and Mae Hammon; brothers, Harold and Doug Hammon; sisters, Mildred Pierson, Sadie Stucks and Marge Corbet. Survivors: Sister, Ann Ziede and husband, Frank; brothers, Roy Hammon, Charles Hammon and wife, Earnestine; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
