Wilson J.D. Wilson, 87, of Duncan died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, in Duncan. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Laflin Cemetery in Alex with Ron Stough officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home of Duncan. Mr. Wilson was born Nov. 4, 1914, in Alex, to James Ulis and Tommie M. Julian Wilson. He married Hazel Cleo Dennis on Dec. 14, 1940, in Chickasha. She preceded him in death on April 19, 2002. Mr. Wilson worked for Gulf Oil Co. in Port Arthur, Texas, before moving to Duncan in 1947. He then went to work for DX Sunray Refinery for 25 years and retired in 1972. After retiring from the refinery, he worked for the City of Duncan for six years. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Tommie Wilson and Jerry and Debbie Wilson all of Duncan; a brother, J.E. Wilson of Chickasha; three sisters, Naomi McClure of New Iberia, La., Joyce Allen of Moore and Anita Stidham of Chickasha; three grandchildren, Shelley Wilson of Houston, Sara Wilson of Duncan and Lori Wilson of Oklahoma City; and seven great-grandchildren. ========= The Chickasha Express-Star 23 September 2002 J.
