Wilson, 60, of Chickasha, will be held Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, at 1 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Raymond Thomas Wilson was born Sept. 1, 1943. He died Oct. 6, 2003, in Chickasha. Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 8 October 2003 RAYMOND THOMAS WILSON Graveside services for Ray T. Wilson 60, of Chickasha, will be held Thursday, October 9, 2003, at 1 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery, with Minister Calvin Nightingale officiating. Raymond Thomas Wilson was born September 1, 1943, in Las Cruses, New Mexico, son of Hollis J. and Billie O. (Rudd) Wilson. He died Monday, October 6, 2003, in his home in Chickasha. Ray grew up and attended school in El Paso, Texas. He attended El Paso Tech on a tennis scholarship and served as a helicopter mechanic in the U.S. Army. A man of many talents, Ray mastered a variety of occupations, ranging from auto mechanic to computer expert. In 1993, he attended the Las Vegas Gaming and Technical School, where he received his Gaming Machines Technician's Diploma. He married Linda Wilson in 1963. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, cards, dominoes, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents and his father-in-law, LeRoy Wilson, all of whom were waiting for him with open arms. He is survived by his wife Linda, of the home; two daughters: Talena Rae and husband Charles Phillips and Susan Lee and husband Calvin Nightingale; one son, Raymond Thomas, II (Tommy) and wife Cathy Wilson; nine grandchildren: Tiffany, Malinda, Charles, and Dalton Phillips, Amber (Phillips) and husband Brandon Brookman, Sheresa and Braden Nightingale, and Dillon and Katlyn Wilson; two great grandchildren: Jacob and Julian Phillips; three brothers Jack and Dorothy Wilson and Jim Wilson, of California, and Ronald Wilson of Arizona; four sisters: Jean and Joe Baldwin and Nancy and Jack McFarden, of Texas, Linda Hawkins, of Arizona, and Deborah and David Lundy, of Colorado; mother-in-law, Irene Wilson, of Chickasha; two brothers-in-law: Roy D. Wilson and Edward and Letha Wilson, of Ft. Cobb; five sisters-in-law: Gala and George Graham, of Chickasha, Laretta Frizell, of Chickasha, Wanda and Charles Clark, of Cement, Patsy Banks, of Chickasha, and Cindy Carnes, of Bradley; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
