Bart Williams was born Oct. 28, 1966, and died on Wednesday, July 24, 2002, in Chickasha. ============ The Chickasha Express-Star 28 July 2002 BART HENRY WILLIAMS Funeral service for Bart Henry Williams, age 35, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2002, in the Cornerstone Church in Chickasha. Rev. Bill Nunley will officiate. Bart Henry Williams was born the son of A. P. Williams, Jr. and Deborah Daisy Higgins Williams, On October 28, 1966, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He died on July 24, 2002, in Chickasha. He married Barbara Harrell on August 24, 2000, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Bart grew up in Alex and attended Alex Public School. His hobbies included camping, swimming and bicycling with Barbara and Trigger. Bart also enjoyed rebuilding cars and riding motorcycles. He graduated from professional truck driving school in the Spring of 2001 with future plans of owning his own body shop and rebuilding cars and motorcycles. Bart was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Chickasha and volunteered his time counseling youths at the juvenile detention center. He will always be r emembered for his smile, laugh, compassion and unconditional love for his family. Bart was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, A. P. and Gillie Williams of Alex. Survivors include: wife: Barbara Williams of Chickasha; parents: A. P. "June" and Deborah Williams of Oklahoma City; son: Derek Gregory Fuqua of Ringling; sister: Angie Opitz of Nashville, Tennessee; sister: Casey Bates of Tyler, Texas; sister: Shane Beauchamp of Oklahoma City; brother: Brian Williams of Bradley; one half-brother and two half-sisters. The family will have a private graveside service in Rose Hill Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
