Lois Alene Williams was born Sept. 10, 1915, and died on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003. Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 24 September 2003 LOIS ALENE WILLIAMS Graveside service for Lois Alene Williams, 88, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2003, at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha. Lois Alene Williams was born September 10, 1915, in Waycross, Georgia, and died September 23, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Williams grew up in Florida. She and Sam Williams were married February 2, 1946, in Washington, D.C. They came to Chickasha in 1950 from Oklahoma City. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church of Chickasha. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Sinclair Knight; 1 sister, Dorothy Finley. Survivors include: husband, Sam Williams of the home; 3 sons: Richard Williams and wife, Charlette, of Anadarko, Oklahoma, John Williams of Austin, Texas, David Williams and wife, Laura, of Houston, Texas; 1 brother, Bobby Knight and wife, Muriel, of Jacksonville, Florida; 1 sister, Beulah Knight of Boyton Beach, Florida; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Bobby Knight, Jr., and wife, Marcie, Donna Knight, Sharon Knight, Keith Knight, Kevin Knight, John Finley, Susanne Finley, Paula Jean Finley, and Cindy and Andy Griffith (of the Andy Griffith television show).
