WILLIAMS Funeral services for Lyman D. Williams, 89, of Chickasha, Okla., are pending with Ferguson Funeral Home. Lyman D. Williams was born Oct. 14, 1914, in Magnolia, Ark., and died on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in Chickasha. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 26 December 2003 LYMAN D. WILLIAMS Graveside services for Lyman D. Williams, 89, of Chickasha, will be held Saturday, December 27, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery, with Kenny Geer officiating. Lyman D. Williams was born October 31, 1914, in Magnolia, Arkansas, the son of Thomas Williams and Annie (Reynolds) Williams. He died December 23, 2003, in Chickasha. Lyman and Norma Williams were married in Canton, Mississippi, on March 09, 1941. Lyman enlisted in the Army in 1942, in Jackson, Mississippi, and served as a pilot in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WW II. He attained the rank of Captain before his discharge in 1954, at Ft. Sill, OK. He was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Chickasha. Lyman was preceded in death by both parents and two sons: Ronald Williams and Thomas Williams. Survivors include his wife, Norma, of the home, one daughter, Patricia Brown of Edmond, OK; seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
