NELLIE WILLIAMS Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Hill Williams were held at 2:30 p.m.=20 Tuesday, July 12, in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Whitley, pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, officiating. Mrs. Harry Dodson, Mrs. Chester Heavin and Miss Sharon Heavin accompanied by Mrs. Donald Brown at the piano, sang "Rock of Ages," "What a Friend," and "In the Garden." Pallbearers were Doyle Brinlee (?), Donald Graham, Dank Pitts, Paul DeBoard, Ernest Henry, Henry and Leo Talkington. Interment was in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of Hansen Funeral Home. Nellie Hill was born November 18, 1888 in Sequatchie, Tenn. and died July 10 1966 at her home. She was married in 1921 To Ernest Tulis. To this union were born two children. She was married to Alec Williams in 1936. She was member of the Episcopal Church. Survivors include her husband, Alec, of the home, one son, Ernest M.
