Williams Funeral for Clarence L. Williams, 78, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. today at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Montie Jones, pastor, Lawton Heights United Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. Williams died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2003, at his home. Burial will be at Rush Springs Cemetery. He was born Jan. 23, 1925, near Chickasha, to Carl and Ethel Turner Williams. He traveled all over the United States with his family as a child, and came to Lawton in 1932. He worked for several construction companies, and managed the College Mobile Villa Mobile Home Court for 12 years. He married Margaret Lilly Oct. 1, 1944, in Lawton. He was a member of Lawton Heights United Methodist Church for many years. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Valetta Bentley, Rush Springs; a brother, Bob Williams, Tahlequah; two sisters: Delores Burke, Lawton; and Christina Hendricks, Elgin; a granddaughter, Kalera Weyrick and her husband, Jake, Rush Springs; and two great-grandchildren: Zora and Daz Weyrick, both of Rush Springs; and many friends.
