Scott Williamson & Rev. Victor Cook will be officiating. Leon Williamson was born July 9, 1938 in Alex, OK the son of Vera Juanita (Mills) White and died August 27, 2005 in Dallas, TX. Mr. Williamson was of the Baptist Faith. Leon loved to go to the Corner market and Ma & Pa's to drink coffee and chit chat, loved to work in Big Equipment especially finding something that was broken and fixing it, watching Horse Racing. He was preceded in death by: His Father: George Williamson; Daughter: Jacyln Yvonne; Brother: Woody Williamson; Mother of his Children: Clydene Dear. Survivors include: Sons: Steven WILLIAMSON of Coleman, OK; Stan Williamson of Coleman, OK; Stacey Williamson & Daughter-In-Law Sherry of Troup, Tx; Scott Williamson & Daughter-In-Law Amy of Poteau, OK; Mother: Vera White of Caddo, OK; Brothers: Carl Williamson of Coalgate, OK; Russell Williamson of Tishomingo, Ok; Sisters: Wilma Manion of Tishomingo, OK; Floretta Wooten of Coleman, OK; Carolyn McIntyre of Bennington, OK; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews, to many friends to count. ========= Durant Daily Democrat 31 Aug 2005 Leon Williamson, 67 A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dibble Cemetery, Dibble, for Leon Williamson, 67, who died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, in Dallas, Texas. Scott Williamson and Rev. Victor Cook will officiate. He was born Saturday, July 9, 1938, in Alex to Vera Juanita (Mills) White and George Williamson. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to go to the Corner Market and Ma's & Pa's to drink coffee and chit chat. He loved to work in big equipment, especially finding something that was broken and fixing it, and watching horse races. He was an oil field worker. He was preceded in death by his father, daughter Jacyln Yvonne, brother Woody Williamson and mother of his children Clydene Dear. He is survived by his sons Steven Williamson, Coleman, Stan Williamson, Coleman, Stacey Williamson and wife Sherry, Troup, Texas, and Scott Williamson and wife Amy, Poteau; mother Vera White, Caddo; brothers Carl Williamson, Coalgate, and Russell Williamson, Tishomingo; and sisters Wilma Manion, Tishomingo, Floretta Wooten, Coleman, and Carolyn McIntyre, Bennington. Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
