Jim Ross will officiate. Sybil Louise Winn was born Oct. 28, 1917, in Hopkins County, Texas, and died on Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at her son's home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 27 November 2002 Sybil Louise Winn Funeral service for Sybil Louise Winn, age 85, of Verden, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2002, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Jim Ross will officiate. Sybil Louise was born on October 28, 1917, in Hopkins County, Texas, the daughter of Sidney Arthur Cox and Hattie May McCasland Cox. She died on Monday, November 25, 2002, at her son's home. Sybil moved to the Anadarko area and attended Roach County School. She married George Ray Winn on April 25, 1935, in Chickasha. They lived in the Roach community until 1949, when they moved north of Verden to the Dutton Community. Sybil dedicated her life to her husband and rearing her children. She also helped her husband on the farm. She was a member of the Church of Christ for fifty-two years. Sybil was most recently a member of the Minco Church of Christ. Sybil was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; her husband: Ray and one infant son. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Kinuko Winn of San Diego, California, son and daughter-in-law: Buddy and Dorothy Winn of Pocasset; son and daughter-in-law: Don and Verda Winn of Pocasset; son and daughter-in-law: Steven and Kay Winn of Verden; son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Carla Winn of Anadarko; son and daughter-in-law: Patrick and Debbie Winn of Verden; Sister: Pat Bauman of Chickasha; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------
