Wasson and Bessie E. Arthur Wasson. She died on December 2, 2000, in Mustang, Oklahoma. LaVeta grew up in Alex, Oklahoma. She later moved to Chickasha, where she married James B. Wynkoop in 1936. After several years, LaVeta moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma. She spent thirty-three years working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Federal Crop Insurance and retired in 1971. LaVeta was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi business sorority. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970, both parents, and one brother, Joe Campbell Wasson. Survivors include one brothers, Clarence L. Wasson of New York, New York. Arrangements are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
