Doyle Jasper Yates

Graveside services for Doyle Jasper Yates, 79, of Chickasha were held on 
Thursday, August 31, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. in Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko, 
with Rodger Bennett officiating.

Doyle Jasper Yates was born on March 6, 1921 in Finley, Oklahoma, the son of 
Alvin Yates and Bessie Duncan. He died on August 27, 2000 in Chickasha.

Doyle married Alice Bussell on January 18, 1957.

Throughout his life, Doyle worked for farmers in the Caddo County area and 
for Sequala Carpet Mill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; both parents; two children Ricky 
Yates and Georgia Yates.

Survivors include five daughters: Betty Joann Warner of Corsicana, Texas; 
Doylene Booth of Bixby, Oklahoma; Joyce Bedford of Chickasha; Julie Largent 
of Chickasha; Lesa Yates of Chickasha; three sons; Doyle Wayne Yates Jr. of 
Chickasha; Melvin Yates of Chickasha; Ronnie Yates of Chickasha; twenty-seven 
great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
