All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star Sunday, 11 April 2004 WILLIAM OTTO & BOBBYE LOU ELLIOTT ELLIOTTS CELEBRATE 50TH Bobbye Lou Quayle and William Otto Elliott, Jr., were married at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 1954, in Wootten Memorial Chapel, Epworth United Methodist Church. Bobi and Ott Elliott, Chickasha residents for their first 20 years and the last 24 years, will complete 50 years of marriage this Saturday. Both Bobi and Ott are graduates of Chickasha High School, and Ott is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, where he received his U.S. Air Force commission. The couple retired to their hometown after a two-year tour of duty with the U.S. Air Force in Orlando, Fla., four years in Houston, Texas, as a sales representative for Adams Resources Corporation and Sinclair Corporation, and after becoming one of the first oil jobbers in Oklahoma with Humble Oil Company, now Exxon, in Altus, Okla. It was in Altus thast their children completed their schooling. The Elliotts are the parents of two daughters, Debi Willoughby, of Edmond, Okla., and Lori Young of Sugarland, Texas, and the grandparents of Grant Willoughby, of Tempe, Ark. Their son, William O. Elliott, III, is deceased.
