Gary Lillie officiating. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Cherokee. Online condolences or memories may be shared with the family at http: \\www.lanmanfuneralhomes.com/. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. with the family being present from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Donna was born near Manchester, Oklahoma on August 17, 1932 to Cecil and Ruby McClaflin Smith and died on November 7, 2005 in Enid. She graduated from Wakita High School in 1951 and married Clarence Meyer in 1954. They lived in several locations while he served in the Army. He died in 1959 in an automobile accident in Germany and Donna returned to Wakita. In 1971 she married Edward Marlin Bailey and they lived on the family farm south of Wakita until his death in 1999. She then moved to Ringwood. In 2003, as a result of a stroke, she moved to the United Methodist Home in Enid. Surviving are her three children, Carla Brinson of Berlin, Conn., Richard Meyer of Bancroft, Wisc., and LaDonna Ragan of Moore; her sister, Jeraldine Evans of Wakita; seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
