All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Wakita Cemetery--Wakita OK Edsall, Anna Doris 1919 - 2005 Anna Doris Edsall, 86, a homemaker and mother, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, in Arlington. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wakita Christian Church, Wakita, Okla. Burial: Wakita Cemetery. Visitation: Monday November 7 at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony, Kan. Doris was born Jan. 4, 1919, in Sand Creek to Zelma and Will Cavin. Doris married Ralph Edsall Jan. 1, 1938, and resided in Sand Creek, Okla., where they farmed for 53 years. Doris was an active member in the Fairview and Wakita Christian churches, where she used her talent of playing by ear for both the piano and organ. She was a member of Eastern Star. She moved to Texas in 1996 to be near her children and grandchildren. She blessed all who came in contact with her and she will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; brother, Clayton; sisters, Lena Jones, Helen Cavin, Alta Scheier, Nina Cavin, Ethel Cavin and Wilma Seely. Survivors: Daughter, Ann Edsall Northcutt and husband, Wesley; son, John Edsall and wife, Ruby, all of Mansfield; granddaughters, Anna Northcutt of Arlington and Michelle Edsall Fabel and husband, Chris of Fort Worth; and grandsons, Andrew Northcutt of Mansfield and Matthew Edsall of St. Louis, Mo.
