Irene Hardiman Hatchett

FORT WORTH - Irene Hardiman Hatchett, 91, died Saturday, April 5, 1997.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Diamond Hill Baptist Church. 
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery by Shannon North Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Hatchett was born in Grant County, Okla. She graduated from Oklahoma 

Baptist High Academy in 1923 and earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1927 
from Oklahoma Baptist University. She earned a master of religious 
education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1941.

She married Earl W. Hatchett in 1926. He died in 1994.

She was a homemaker and helped serve with her husband in pastorates in 
Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. She was a member of the Diamond Hill 
Baptist Church.


Survivors include two sons, Donnis D. Hatchett of Fort Worth and Donald R. 
Hatchett of Harrah, Okla.; two daughters, Linda K. Tidwell of Keller and 
Avis Brock of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Shannon North Funeral Chapel.
