All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Arlington Memory Gardens--Spencer OK Hamill, Donna Lee (Howland) Donna Lee Howland Hamill was born south of Pond Creek, OK on 14 May 1924 to Oscar R. and Clarice (Fuller) Howland. She graduated from Pond Creek High School in 1942. She worked as a secretary at various locations including the Douglas Aircraft plant in Oklahoma City. She retired after 20 years from Jarman Junior High of the Mid-Del School district. She married C. Dan Hamill, Jr. on 30 March 1946 at Wellington, KS. Donna was the Mother of three children and Grandma to six grandchildren. Son, Dr. Joe R. & Diane Hamill, grandson Andrew Hamill and granddaughter Sarah Hamill; Daughter Peggy & David Tanner, granddaughter Carrie & Rob Williamson and granddaughter Rebecca Tanner; Daughter Bonnie & Ron Rosebrook and grandson Brian Rosebrook and granddaughter Kathleen Rosebrook. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband and is survived by her children, grandchildren, her sister Mary Brown of Nash, OK and hosts of friends. Donna was a long time member of Wickline United Methodist Church, UMW, Shangri-La Rose Garden Club, Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Black Hills Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She had been a leader in Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Rainbows. She was proud that both of her parents were direct descendants of the Mayflower. She loved to travel, visit with friends from church and play bridge with her closest of friends, but above all she loved God and her family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to your favorite charity. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2006 at Wickline United Methodist Church with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.
