The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ************************************************************************* William Frankin Allsup, the oldest child of of Henry Pulliam and Sarilda Jane Hines Allsup, was born in Sandie Mountain, Llano County, Texas 20 June 1876. In 1896 he moved, with his parents, brothers and sisters, to Carter County, Oklahoma, then Indian Territory, Chickasaw Nation. There he met and married Docia Olivene Rennels on 27 October 1898. In 1900 he and his wife moved to Greer County, Oklahoma Territory. Their first child, William Chester Allsup was born there 19 February 1900 and died 28 January 1901. He is buried in Springcreek Cemetery. They were the parents of 7 children, all now deceased: William Chester, Bertha Ann (Shockley), Dorothy Belle (Anderson), Sybil Louise (Porter), Lyman Henry, and twins, Okie Nelson and Opie Reed Allsup, all born in what is now Beckham County. They later moved to Mc- Alester, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. William Franklin Allsup died 29 December 1947 in Vinita, Craig County, Oklahoma and is buried in McAlester. His wife died 29 October 1957 in McAlester.
