We always said grandpa and aunt Julie, as moma called her aunt Julie so did we. She was married twice before she married grandpa, her first husband was Daley, and then she married a Anderson and had two boys, Jim and Will Anderson. She had a daughter with Daley named Elizabeth. Aunt Julie was very good to us she died about January or February 1924 and is buried at Jester Oklahoma. I married very young and had 11 children, all lived to be grown except one baby boy who just lived one week, and Delma who got killed in a car wreck. Muriel lives at Clovis New Mexico Madalien lives in Plainview, Harris in Yaking Washington, Wanda in Texas, and Bob and Gene live close to me here in Roseberg Oregon. Wayne lives at Florence. I lost my husband in 1952, he is buried at Mangum Oklahoma. We lived in Greer County Oklahoma when I was growing up. We children use to go with moma out on the prarie and gathered up buffalo bones. We loaded them in the wagon and hauled them to the fertilizer place. They paid us 2 cents a pound for the bones which they ground up and made fertilizer out of. A lot of families did this to make ends meet. I never saw a picture of my mother (Missouri Jane Rutherford) except once and she was standing in front of her house, and Frank was holding a horse. The picture was real faded and I can’t remember what she looked like. I guess we didn’t have to many pictures. Moma died in 1903 and is buried in Oklahoma. Moma married dad in Texas in 1887, they moved to Greer county Oklahoma near Willow. I was born August 28 1891, Ugene was born in 1889 near Decator Texas. Retta was born in 1893, Raymond in 1895 , and Jessie in 1897, Jessie died with T.B. after she married. There was another baby named Eula she died when she was real little. I married William Lee Gable in 1906. I am 80 years old and still do all my own work, and I am in good health. I will try to remember some more. Love Ethyl Note: Ethyl moved to Granite Shoals Texas a few years after this and died at 97 years of age. She was a great little lady, who had a difficult life. I found a picture of Missouri Jane Rutherford taken when she was very young. This was in her brothers pictures W.F. Rutherford. I had a large copy made and sent it to Ethyl. Later her nephew Glenn Harris came up with the picture she had described to me. Missouri and Frank Harris homesteaded land at Willow Oklahoma. Frank Harris is buried at Hollene New Mexico. Jessie Harris Hickman is buried at Jester Okla.
