Her parents were Clifton Ross O'Mara and Jane Reagan O'Mara. She married my grandfather, Harve Dudley Thompson, born in Walters, Oklahoma on August 26, 1886 to Alfred Markham Thompson and Harriett Elizabeth Jackson. A little story that might be interesting to you. My great-grandfather, Alfred Markham Thompson helped build the town of Walters, Oklahoma. When the men started to build, Indians came along and told them "You no build um here, big waters come and wash away." Of course the white men did not listen to the Indians and when spring came "Big waters came and washed some of the buildings away." They put ropes around the buildings that they could that were not washed away and drug them to a little higher ground.
