I will try to write you a letter today. It has been a long time Since we heard from you. We are all well. George is a great Big boy now, he was 15 months old last Thursday. He weighed 23½ pounds at 9 months his papa thinks he is a grand some- thing, and there is no telling what I think - it is rather cool today the wind is from south east and there is some sleet. We had a good rain on the night of the 6th. Wheat is looking well in this section Will sowed 12 acres it is looking well.. Page 2, different handwriting Warren Greer Co Okla Dec 12 1892 Dear Sister we are having a spell of rainy weather it snowed a little we are all well hoping you are all the same well we had a very good crop of Corn this year but will Nead all for feed Our oats and wheat was a failure Hope we will do better next year all of our Stock look fine so fare and I think I have enough feed to carry them through the winter all right have lots of Sorgum to feed James and John said they was going to Come out here to See us this Winter that were all well when wrote us
