Beulah Abston
SPEARMAN - Beulah Abston, 88, died Thursday, April 13, 2000.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with 
Rev. Ken Cole officiating. Burial will be in Hansford Cemetery by Boxwell 
Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Mrs. Abston was born in Granite, Okla. She moved from Odessa and had lived 
in Spearman for 35 years. She was a bank teller at First State Bank. She was 
a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church.

She married E.C. "Ab" Abston in 1932 at Ardmore, Okla. He died in 1991. 
She also was preceded in death by a son, James Melvin Abston, in 1938.

Survivors include a son, Sam Abston of Spearman; two grandchildren; and 
five great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Hansford Hospice, 707 Roland, 
Spearman, TX 79081.
