All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Oklahoma Vivian Marie Anderson DUNCAN, Okla. - Vivian Marie Anderson, 86, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Church of Christ in Childress, Texas, with the Rev. Trey Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson was born June 16, 1918, in Hopkins County to Harley Gordon McJunkins and Mertie Lena (Phillips) McJunkins. She was a homemaker. She married Edd Anderson on Dec. 22, 1935, in Hollis. She was a member of Fairview Church of Christ in Childress. Marie had lived in the Duncan area for the past six years. She worked in the Childress School cafeteria for a short time. Marie enjoyed sewing, gardening and baking. She was an all-around good cook. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 13, 1998; a son, Harley Charles Anderson; her parents; a brother; and a sister. Survivors include a son, Jack Anderson and wife, Lavell, of Marlow; a daughter, Ilene Sims and husband, Bill, of Willow; her grandchildren, Belinda Anderson of Arlington, Texas, Wallace Anderson of Mesquite, Texas, Rebecca Sprayberry of Childress, Texas, and Connie Befort of Albuquerque, N.M.; her great-grandchildren, Adam Sprayberry, Sarah Sprayberry, Rachel Sprayberry, Jarod Befort, Hannah Rachael Anderson and Leah Abigail Anderson; and a niece, Judy Honea of Duncan.
