Bessie Christine Conner

SHAMROCK - Bessie Christine Conner, 96, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, in
Wheeler.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Shamrock Church of Christ with Max
McClendon, Wayne Johnson and the Rev. Mike Martin officiating. Burial will
follow in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Conner was born June 8, 1910, in Mangum, Okla., to James and Margaret
Ellen Bennett Warner. She married Carl Conner on March 23, 1936, in Texola,
Okla. Mrs. Conner was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband on June 24, 1972.

Survivors include a son, Billy Conner and wife Reta of Shamrock; three
daughters, Betty McInroe and husband Carl of Lubbock and Margie Conner and
Claudine Finsterwald and husband Larry, all of Wheeler; grandchildren Daryl
and Patty Conner, David and Kellye Conner, Kristi and John Hastings, Ike and
Stacy Finsterwald, Roy and Melanie Gates and Erik McInroe; great-
grandchildren, Natalie and Whitney Conner, Colton, Logan, Caden and Shyanne
Gates, Tucker and Dixon Connor and Abreeian Finsterwald; and a sister, Juanita
Jarman of Muleshoe.

The family suggests memorials be to Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 575, Shamrock,
TX 79079.
