All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Bobby Lee Cotten Bobby Lee Cotten, 67, of Amarillo died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa with Ralph Harmon of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Amarillo officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Cotten was born Oct. 25, 1936, in Jester, Okla. He was a hardworking, decent man whose life was guided by his strong faith in God. Bobby grew up in the small farming community of Plainview, Okla., graduating from high school there in 1955. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Bennington. In 1959, he married Darlene Dennis in Pampa. He retired in October, 2000 after spending 41 years with the same company. His hobbies were fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. Bobby was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Amarillo. His family eagerly awaits a reunion with him on the resurrection day. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Bryan Euvene in 1961. Survivors include his wife of 44 years; a daughter, Leigh Chacon and husband, Johnny, of Amarillo; a son, Vernon Cotten and wife, Amy, of The Woodlands; five grandchildren, Morgan and Joshua Block, both of Amarillo and Brennan, Bailey and Braden Cotten, all of The Woodlands; and three sisters, Fern and Karen, both of Fritch and Charlotte of Amarillo.
