   Arlen W. Dees
   Arlen W. Dees, 75, of Amarillo, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999.
   
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery East
   with the Rev. Robert Field, pastor of Southeast Baptist Church,
   officiating. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors,
   2615 Paramount Blvd.
   
   Mr. Dees was born in Willow, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1981 from
   Dallas. He served in the Navy during World War II.
   
   In 1985, Mr. Dees retired as a selfemployed contractor. He was a
   Baptist.
   
   Survivors include five sons, Don Dees of Moscow, Kan., Randy Dees of
   Denton, Waymon Dees of Garland, Monty Dees of Verona, Ky., and Bryant
   Dees of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer's Association.
