Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton Young officiating. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Hale was born in Agatite and had lived in Quanah most of his life. He graduated from Quanah High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He worked for Georgia Pacific for 46 years, retiring in 1986. He married Frances Rada Lee in 1939 at Altus, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Roger Hale of Fort Worth; a daughter, Susan Lumpkin of Quanah; three brothers, Glynn Hale of Huntington Park, Calif., and Kenneth Hale and Jackie Hale, both of Blythe, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Jo Bates of Blythe and Lois Stewart of Kingman, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the First Baptist Church. They will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today for visitation. Charles L. Murley FRITCH - Charles L. Murley, 65, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel at Borger with Danny Courtney officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Willow Cemetery at Willow, Okla. Mr. Murley was born in Gainesville and moved to Fritch 22 years ago. He worked for the Texas Highway Department as a street sweeper until his retirement in 1988. He was a Baptist. He married Lona Yeager in 1962 at Borger. Survivors include his wife; a son, John Murley of Fritch; a daughter, Denise Yohn of Fritch; a sister, Bobbie Courtney of Borger; and seven grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing at the funeral home. The family will be at 307 N. Cornell in Fritch.
