  Mamie Paty
   HIGGINS - Mamie Paty, 90, died Sunday Nov. 2, 1997.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Higgins United Methodist Church
   with the Rev. Monte Kreis and the Rev. Ryan Burns officiating. Burial
   will be in Higgins Cemetery. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan
   Funeral Service of Shattuck, Okla.
   
   Mrs. Paty was born in Willow, Okla. She married Melvin Paty in 1925.
   They lived in Willow, Spearman, Arkansas, and the Bishop community in
   Oklahoma. They moved to Higgins in 1946. She was a member of the
   United Methodist Church and the Busy Bee Quilting Club.
   
   Mrs. Paty was preceded in death by her husband in 1971 and also by an
   infant daughter.
   
   Survivors include three daughters, Doris Landers and Joy Ridgway, both
   of Higgins, Nell Bloxsom of Eufaula, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 30
   great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
