Christal Lee Read
Christal Lee Read, 76, formerly of Amarillo, died Monday, March 26, 2001, 
in Phoenix.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of 
Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Miss Read was born Sept. 2, 1924, in Willow, Okla., the daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. E.T. Read. She moved to Amarillo in 1941 from Spearman. She was a 
graduate of Amarillo High School. She retired from Amarillo National Bank 
after 34 years.

Survivors include two sisters, Ruby Hayden of Phoenix and Thelma McCleod of 
Amarillo; two brothers, Eddie Read of Ringgold and Glen Harris of Amarillo; 
many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends from 
Arizona and Texas.
