   Frances Sue Short
   Frances Sue Short, 67, of Amarillo, died Thursday,
   Dec. 19, 1996.
   
   Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel
   of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Allen Norris of
   Grand Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park
   Cemetery.
   
   Mrs. Short was born in Jester, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member
   of Tenth Avenue Methodist Church and the Methodist Women Association.
   
   She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wilson Short, in
   1976 and a daughter, Peggy Holman, in 1980.
   
   Survivors include a son, John Daniel Short of Porter, Okla.; three
   daughters, Bertha Haney and Billie Gallaway, both of Amarillo, and
   Aloha Cook of Austin; a sister, Peggy Ellis of Amarillo; 12
   grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
   
   The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
