Phillis Smith

HEREFORD - Phillis Smith, 68, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel with the
Rev. Ellis Parsons of Summerfield Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be
in West Park Cemetery by Rix Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Smith was born May 9, 1938, in Los Angeles to James and Alberta Donahoo
Parsons. She married Wayne "R.W." Smith on Sept. 30, 1953, in Minco, Okla.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Richard Wayne Smith Jr. of San Angelo
and John Decatur "J.D." Smith of Snyder; a daughter, Norma Fay Tollett of
Mangum, Okla.; a brother, Norman John Parsons of Cordell, Okla.; three
sisters, Mary Lou Payne of Amarillo, Catherine Koonce of Lubbock and Stacy
Harrde of Andrews; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
