   Gladys Marie Scurlock Hopkins Tollett
   
   Gladys  Marie Scurlock Hopkins Tollett, 83, of Amarillo died Saturday,
   Jan. 5, 2002.
   
   Services  will  be  at  2  p.m.  today  in  N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral
   Directors,  Pioneer  Chapel,  2615  Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Amy
   Malleck  and  the  Rev.  Kenneth Smith officiating. Graveside services
   will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Breckenridge Cemetery of Breckenridge.
   
   Mrs. Tollett was born in Cleburne. She had been a resident of Amarillo
   since  1949.  She  married Clint W. Hopkins in 1933. He passed away in
   1970. She then married Leon Tollett in 1974.
   
   She was preceded in death by three sons, Horace Wayne Hopkins, Richard
   Dean Hopkins and Johnny Joe Hopkins; four sisters; and two brothers.
   
   Survivors  include  her  husband;  a  daughter,  Tommie Lou Tollett of
   Amarillo;  a  son,  Clint  Wade  Hopkins  Jr. of Irving; two stepsons,
   Dennis  Tollett  of  Granite,  Okla., and Bobby Tollett of Amarillo; a
   stepdaughter,   Patricia  Grizzle  of  Canyon;  29  grandchildren;  54
   great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
   
   The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice.
