All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Edwin Jeral Werhan SHAMROCK - Edwin Jeral Werhan, 73, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, in Borger. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Shamrock Church of Christ with Clif Werhan and Dewayne Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. Werhan was born Oct. 14, 1928, at Lone Wolf, Okla. He married Donetta Smith on May 24, 1955, at Brinkman, Okla. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He lived in Shamrock since 1971. He owned Irish Burger Restaurant for nine years and worked for Shamrock Schools for 15 years. Survivors include his wife; a son, John Werhan of Lindsay, Okla.; two daughters, Lanetta Werhan of Borger and Ileta Bailey of Maryland; a brother, Clif Werhan of Rush Springs, Okla.; three sisters, Laquita Bennett of Shamrock, Uleta Chandler of Sentinel, Okla., and LaVeta Thomas of Shawnee, Okla.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
