Dorothy P. Winters
Dorothy P. Winters, 82, of Amarillo, died Friday, June 2, 2000.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Church of the Nazarene with 
the Rev. K. Ray McDowell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park 
Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.

Mrs. Winters was born and raised in Willow, Okla. She graduated from 
high school in Willow. She moved to Amarillo in 1942 from Shamrock. 
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She married Grady Haddock in 1933 at Shamrock. He died in 1953. She married 
Elmer Winters in 1960 at Pampa. He died in 1968. She also was preceded in 
death by a daughter, Janelle Wood, in 1964.

Survivors include a son, Eddy Haddock of Amarillo; two daughters, Rose Heard 
and Saundra Sutton, both of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and eight greatgrand-
children; and her friend and care giver, Roena Merriss of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice.
