Myrtle Beeson of Granite passed away at the Mangum city hospital on Tuesday, 
May 25, 1993. Mrs. Beeson was 89 years of age.

Mrs Beeson was born January 5, 1904 at Plainview, Arkansas to John H. and Alpha 
(Lawson) Johnson. The family moved to Greer County in the early 1900's and had 
lived in the community of Willow for many years. On October 2nd, 1921 She married 
Lawrence Beeson near Willow.

Myrtle Beeson is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence in 1967. A daughter, 
Helen Jo, two sons, John Lowell and Joel, a sister, Winnie Woods and her parents.

Mrs. Beeson is survived by: sons, Ennis Beeson of Cache, Oklahoma; Rev. Lynn Beeson 
of Foyil, Oklahoma; sisters, Jo An Morris of Granite and Lois Henderson of Willow; 
11 grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Myrtle Beeson were held at the First Assembly of God in Granite, 
Oklahoma on Friday, May 28, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Marvin Boyles officiating. 
Burial followed at the Carter Cemetery in Carter, Oklahoma.
