(1 Jan 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Funeral services for B. C. Caddell, 71, resident of Granite for more than 20 years, were held Tuesday in the First Baptist church in Granite, it was made known today. Mrs. A. E. Ragsdale, of this city, is a daughter-in-law of the deceased. Mr. Caddell had been a cotton broker. A large number of men with whom he had been associated in business in Oklahoma City and over the state attended the last rites. Mr. Caddell suffered a heart attack after which he lived only a few minutes. He had apparently been in excellent health before the attack. Surviving Mr. Caddell are his widow, Mrs. B. C. Caddell, and five children, one daughter, Mrs. Earl Bassett, of Arapaho, and four sons, B. C. Caddell, of Araphao, H. N. Caddell of Oklahoma City, Fred Caddell, of Paris, Texas, and J. C. Caddell, Bridgeport. Interment was made in the Mangum cemetery.
